Dutch artist Baril teases with a new single ‘Lockdown’, a heartfelt electronic track that lands on February 26th on Intercept. 

Last year, Baril’s debut six track EP One More Rush won plenty of support from both high profile DJs and dancers in the know. The melodic master has also remixed David Kochs and the result was one of the standout tracks in Keinemusik’s Essential Mix. It showed that he is a mature musical craftsman with the skills to write deft but driving tracks which marry real feelings with lush soundscapes and smart samples. 

‘Lockdown’ perfectly captures the feelings of forlornness we have all experienced in the last year. It’s a richly layered track that drives forwards but never resolves. Angelic vocal harmonies float high above delicate pads while booming bass and crispy breakbeats church down low. Powerful yet dreamy, it’s a track to get lost in as you gaze out into the distance. 

This is another gorgeous electronic track with perfect hooks that builds excitement for the full length album Baril is currently working on.
